But is it just me, but are they different sizes? The ones at the top are larger, and as they get closer to the bottom they get smaller... was that supposed to happen?

As a point of critique, I do agree with mode2 that the final composition is somewhat lacking. I'm not sure how else you could "package" the final output, but that the current image showcases such beautiful model renderings, outside of any sense of context and leaves us wondering "why?" Finding the balance between including enough information to maintain the sense of reality while being careful not to ruin the illusion with any detail that might give the illusion away is going to be difficult.
All in all, very beautiful work. I'd like to see what else you do with this. - jason
